Our experience is that anti-inflammatory medication will often prolong the pain episode. Anti-inflammatories may actually stop the chemical interactions involved in normal inflammatory processes necessary for adequate tissue healing. As a result, find our patients usually respond to our treatment quicker without any anti-inflammatory medication.
